The project BEAMS has been awarded as part of the 2021 Starting Grant call of the European Research Council (ERC). BEAMS aims at exploring a new class of silicon photonic devices, circuits, and metasurfaces in a three-dimensional integration technology for the generation, control, and reception of free-space laser beams.
